As a whole I would say this series in general is a really good light read.

Well…this book was just…I’m not quite sure how to really form words right now. But as the competition approaches its end and the threats outside the palace walls grow more vicious, America realises just how much she stands to lose – and how hard she’ll have to fight for the future she wants. Now, the time has come for one winner to be chosen.Īmerica never dreamed she would find herself anywhere close to the crown – or to Prince Maxon’s heart.

It’s swoon meets the Hunger Games in the final instalment of THE SELECTION trilogy!įor the four girls who remain at the palace, the friendships they’ve formed, rivalries they’ve struggled with and dangers they’ve faced have bound them to each other for the rest of their lives. Now, only one will claim Prince Maxon’s heart… THE SELECTION changed the lives of thirty-five girls forever. If you’re a fan of the series I say go for it because there are enjoyable parts, but if you’re a bit “eh” about it and really don’t care about the characters then I’m not sure it’s really worth the time ( sorry to all you fans^^) America, continued to be annoying and ( sorry to be so blunt) but stupid (though tbh we all love to hate her character and still want her to end up with Maxon don’t we?) I won’t delve further into the review so as to not spoil some of you who may just be here to see a brief opinion and review before deciding whether or not to read this third book. This book, like the others, felt short, very brief, and basically whet our appetite for something more that…unfortunately…isn’t coming since this was a final book with an Epilogue that basically ended the story. After having zoomed through both of the previous books I finally thought that Kiera Cass would have understood from all the reviews and opinions that we wanted a slower paced book that developed the background of the world she has created and all of the information that she tossed at us. So I guess this week is just going to be a follow up of final trilogy books that I was disappointed up.
